Maybe having a morning "buffet" where you can "pack your own" ?

Have an assortment of take away items (sandwiches, chips, fruit, nuts, sodas, juice, bottled water, granola, twinkies, beer, Vienna Sausages, fried chicken... whatever assorted snacks that you want to provide...) so members can pick and choose a brown bag of items themselves.
Some can't go all day without food... AND some with health concerns shouldn't go for long periods without eating or drinking (like water, not the adult beverages)...

Maybe someone can say what lunch in MI was like for those that were not there...

I think many (from what I heard, not trying to be bias) were impressed with the food at Columbia Lakes... I thought the formal dinner at Columbia Lakes after the tournament was great... didn't mind a (very nice) box lunch while out on the water... Was all still more food than I needed... anyway I have a hard time fishing and eating at the same time...

Sorry, ladies and gents, I thought the poll would appear under the picture. Maybe the question should have been, "Do the waiters have to serve at high tide?"

Box lunch

Post by Warren Platt »

Are you going to have a picnic, or a fishing tournament? While I'll most likely will not be there next year, while I'm out fishing I'll take whatever I need to get by. I never take a box lunch out on the lake, jar of peanut butter and bananas on bread makes a great sandwich, granola bars and water and I'm set for the day! Enough from me, let those that'll be there make the choice.
