Great day of tackle collecting at the Burleson Texas meet today. ORCA had a strong showing.

We had 3-4 folks that said they were going to join and a couple old members said they were going to re-join. Good day to be a reel collector!

There was virtually NO NO NO info here on this site about this Show. I just Happened on it looking for lures and was in the area!!

Harry- Additionally, the notice for the DFW/Burleson regional meeting was posted in Reel Talk and the ORCA Facebook Page on July 12. The ORCA Facebook post was repeated on Show and Tell on July 20th. The event was promoted at the ORCA Annual Convention’s well attended Breakfast with the Board and the show date was updated/corrected in Reel Talk on August 17. So there plenty of notice. I’m just sayin’.

Hmmmmm, Harry. I posted it on this website, sent out individual letters to members in surrounding states my self, talked about it at the ORCA National. Not sure what more I could have done to promote it. Glad you made it. Wish we could have met but you did talk to one of ORCA's best ambassadors, Mr. Bryce Tawney. Bryce worked tirelessly to promote joining ORCA at this event and went to the trouble of carrying and setting up the ORCA display. Thank you Bryce from all ORCA members for your efforts.

Saw the NFLCC notice on the Lure Side and they held one in Indiana the same day however just my Zwei Pfennig worth is that it should have been posted (Stickied Even) on this Forum under announcements where everyone would see it that the Event would be in Burleson and ORCANIANS would be there as well and it was not .

Throw the cow over the fence some hay !

AND as I Stated Mr. Tawney is a Great ASSET to this Hobby,En-devour,Art,Cause,Organization, Life, Developmental Therapy and so on .
