Rogue Reels: 1963 Orvis Catalogue
This is the first print ad I have been able to find concerning the Rogue Reel. It appears the 1963 issue is the only year listing, at least that I can find, the Rogue Fly Reel. I have perused hundreds of fly fishing magazine classified ads, without success, as this was John Shaw's normal route of creating sales outside of word of mouth.
