EVH wrench for early drag?

Hi, i’ve not broken down one of these early Vom Hofe drags I and don’t have the special wrench. Can anyone enlighten me about its workings and possibly have the wrench? Pics and measurements is all i need, although i would buy one if not too outlandishly priced!

We lose fewer of them if they're tied to the reels.

I'm envious of you guys who can look at something, then go into the shop and "fab" one. John, please fab me an MG-TD in British racing green. Right-hand drive is fine with me, too.

Sorry, Richard... with the price of nickel silver, it would break me! I did, however, manage a functional wrench!

Why wouldn't a little spanner wrench like one of these have worked?

The second one on the left might work "backwards", Tommy...it has to get purchase against the wheel while the teat is in one of the three holes. Here's the one I made that will work:
