I've got 2 out of three plus a new Tycoon Tackle Spinning Rod. Talked to him once on the phone, plus copy of the Ad Butch Carey did for Tycoon.

Re: A few more from Saturday

It was a good show with a few members of the public strolling in. Adding a few more photos to the mix.

Bill Hoerter stood up at the dinner last night to acknowledge the important role West Virginia resident and ORCA founder Mike Nogay played in establishing our club. Mike conceived of the Old Reel Collectors Association more than 25 years ago and set it up as a non-profit educational organization. We were honored to have Mike and his wife Robin at the convention and Mike received a standing ovation at the dinner.

As I said, there were a few shoppers who came into the show this morning:

And two from Friday - one of Dave Roberts casting in a light drizzle and Robin Sayler giving it his best shot in the ugly reel toss.

If you like Bill Hoerter's display of New York maker Ball Handle Reels, here is a video showing all of them, individually. You can pause the video at each one you want to study more closely. Thank you Bill Hoerter!

At the show I got a #30 holiday (zanghi) and a fin- nor #4 w/ extra spool. The fin - nor is as nice as everybody who is anybody (I.e. spinning reel people- ha!) says . The holiday is a peculiar duck but neat. To repeat myself if you didn’t come ya missed it. Next year should be even better.
you can tune a piano, but you can't tuna fish.
