Model T Roadster spotted on a tackle pick

Post by Paul M »

I answered a local ad by a fellow that had some old reels for sale. The reels turned out to be common so I walked away BUT he had a really interesting garage that contained many collectibles including this 1928 Model T that he bought from a farmer for $100. He turned it into a 400 HP roadster, telling me he put over 100k miles on it as he drives it every day, takes it to car shows etc. Cool!

I asked if he ever showed the restored and “improved” car to the farmer. He replied yes and the farmer didn’t like his work but he got a real thrill when they went for a ride.
