Did CAFTA Cough up a Kopf? NOPE

I had a nice day exhibiting vintage Canadian reels at the CAFTA 2019 Fall show in Peterborough, Ontario.

I bought a handful of reels including what I think is a Kopf. If so, is the handle right?

I'm with Jason. Despite the concavity in the middle of the foot, everything else looks like Hendrick. Further evidence may lie inside the reel.

I am a Dumb Kopf - the pillar on groove foot style was a dead giveaway. Simple gears inside. No marks under the rubber top hat. I will look inside the backplate when I get around to cleaning the reel. Thanks guys!

Had to show you a couple of pics of my Canadian find. Purchased it from a gent in western Canada that “claimed” it was from a museum overstock auction. Can’t confirm the story, just passing it along at face value. Anyway, this is just one of many trolling setups I have, but this one is my favorite!

Nice, Randy. I have a number of smaller mass produced banjo reel/rod combos however, these larger un-named one-off / low volume reels are much more appealing.
