Interesting read, some familiar names, regarding the auction of the contents of the Anglers Roost tackle shop in Manhattan, NY.

I attended this sale ...as did nearly every fly tackle collector on the East Coast.

It was held in a 100+ year old church and was stuffed to the gills with people, upstairs and down.

Frankly, I was afraid the balcony might fall down !

Wow Judith and Hoagie... haven't heard those names in years! I've added quite a few books to the library from her! I remember visiting her at home on several occasions during the winter with a couple hundred dollar budget! She had 1 of the greatest book collections know and Hoagie..just incredible shop! I remember it like yesterday though it's been years since we've talked. He has/had a stone out building/machine shop with cabinets filled with parts! I brought him a custom Hofe surf reel and if he didn't have it he made it! Great memories... Tight lines Nick in NY
