Who was PHIL WHITE???

Post by Harvey »

Just kidding of course!
Got my "SEPTEMBER" Reel News in just three days mailing time and again, Richard has filled the shoes of our retired editor rather well. I know you have heard this a thousand times but following in Phil's footsteps is something that is not going to be easy to do but it looks from afar that "Richard The Writer" is getting the hang of it quickly.
We will always remember Phil for all the time and effort he put into making the RN something that he can be very proud of and helping with the transition to Richard what seems to have been painless.
Phil, maybe now you can spend more time with the RRL, Bert and those hungry bass out on the lake. Thanks again for your effort over the years.

Got mine today too! Wow, after waiting 2 weeks last time after most other people, it is nice to be on the cutting edge. Great job Richard!

Finally got my July issue AND the September issue. No problem as I enjoy the novelty of having two completely new issues arrive in the mail! Now I can finally say, "great job Richard and everyone that contributed"! Mahalo!

The Reel News hasn't made it to the sunny south yet. The hurricane must have blown it north again. We were among the first to receive it last time. Well perhaps we won't have to wait as long as some of you did last time.

Don,
Don't feel bad, I could likely toss an ugly reel and hit Richard's home state, and I don't have the new issue yet. Go figure!
But, in the grand scheme of things, this is small 'taters.

It is September 04 and no Reel News. I'm hoping it is in with all the Holiday mail Tuesday.
