A friend sent me an original of the 4-page 1921 Vol. 1, No. 1 Official Bulletin of the National Association of Scientific Angling Clubs that had been founded in 1909. In 1921 the NASAC consisted of 26 affiliated clubs from around the country, including 6 in Ohio...in Akron, Cleveland, Newark, Columbus, Youngstown and Cincinnati. These clubs focused on tournament casting, including fly, plug, accuracy and distance. It reminded me of our first 4-page ORCA newsletter.
