Traditional Korean "reels"
I've seen traditional Chinese reels, which some have told me were made from old silk spinning wheels. Those are like side mount reels but wound with the anglers finger. This is the first time, however, that I've seen a traditional Korean fishing reel.

I would LOVE to try that. It is beautiful to watch. Graceful, delicate. And carp are hard to catch with a fly. Did you know what he was using? It is like tenkara. Thank you Brian. It opened my eyes.
