Former ORCA President and renowned vintage tackle expert Jim Schottenham was recognized by current club president Ron Gast last night with an ORCA Honorary Life Membership award in recognition of his contributions to our hobby.

Jim becomes ORCA’s 17th honorary life member.

I have enjoyed the give and take of Reel talk over the past few years but without anything of significance to add I have been reluctant to join in the conversation. In regard to Jim's recognition I finally feel qualified. Jim has been my live contact person during several past Lang's auctions. He was professional , helpful and even calming.
