DAM QUICK 45 reel modification help needed

This DAM Quick 45 fly reel is very nice, but it is set up for left hand retrieve. The drag only works when it is retrieved that way. Is there any way to modify it for right hand retrieve? I can't see one, but I thought some other folks might.

It is supposed to switch from left to right, but I don't see a way to change the clicker spring from one side to the other. This post at Fiberglass Flyrodders has a copy of the owners manual. Hopefully that will help.

Just a guess.... the coiled spring you clearly see is not one of the 2 springs that are discussed in the instruction for changing left to right. The spring you see is only to control the on/off click. The spring "L" and "R "are hidden. Follow the instructions exactly to lift up the hub and you will then see the relevant spring catches that you need to rotate between in order to change the direction.
