In short, you have to upload the images and insert the image link into your posting, usually by just clicking the link while you are editing the post. It is easy if you are new to forget to click the image link to insert it.

The handle knob has been replaced if it is the last pre '54 version. A look inside the rotor cop (spool removed) and inside the body for planamatic gearing will tell a better story. Also, a look at the spool (pillared or not) and the drag knob will show if those parts appear to still be original. Late Caps & Mitchell Caps and early 304's are notorious for interchanged/switched parts.

Once you remove the line you'll be able to tell if it has the correct pillared spool. Other than that it appears to be period, i.e. version, correct except for the replaced handle knob. Nice old CAP.

They are very hard to find and quite expensive if you do. I've seen the knob only go for $30 +.
