I collect reels and rods and fishing collectables.. A friend came by today and told me that he had a Mitchell 1-11 or maybe a 11-1 .. is there such a mitchell rill with this number ?

I agree it probably a Mitchell 411. What color is it? Any other distinguishing characteristics?

You mention that you are a reel/rod/fishing collector. Are you a member of ORCA? It is cheap to join and I guarantee you will learn more in a year of membership than you will from any other similar organization. The more you know, the more you will enjoy your collection.

I agree with these guys. It's probably a Garcia Mitchell 411. Easy way to determine, is the color. The 411 or 401 is Dark Blue. Both are high retreive. I fish with them and have good sucess. If yours is in Mint shape then I would display it. One guys opinion. Good luck.
