Interesting Early EVH Star Reel

One of our members has a very interesting EVH Star Reel. Two things are new to me. EVH name stamped on the JVH patent gear bridge which normally has FVH name stamped on it. The other thing is the "wedding cake" style machining on the inside of the head plate. Any others like this out there?
