the problem with plated brass and salt, that bright finish is still bright even when it's pitted beneath.
I found this on otherwise beautiful Abu surf reels.

Well, I missed this post,, a big excuse, was in the middle of a house sale and interstate move !!.
I've seen this Particular stunner before, BUT, John, this would be one of my collections most prized if it sat on my shelf.
Stunning condition, this is real eye candy for an early Penn collector....
