Wow, I’m surprised a new buyer didn’t step up to buy the Lang’s famous name after the most recent blow-out auction showed the strength of the tackle market. A truly sad day for reel collectors. I don’t know much about Blanchards but let’s hope an entrepreneur or two sees an opening here.

I have many fond memories of Bob Lang and it’s a sad day for me, frankly.

This is devastating. This is a major blow to reel collecting worldwide, both for buyers and sellers. Now Jim's move makes sense.
