I would like to purchase a marked T.H. Chubb reel to match up with this Chubb valise rod. Thanks.

Mike,
An appropriate diameter clear thinwall plastic tube would be a great protector for that cool rod.
Love those Open Face Spinning Reels! (Especially ABU & ABU/Zebco)

The fly reel is scarce and would be difficult to find one in nice condition. The ones I've seen have nickel plating loss. Good luck though.

They’re out there, and I’m hoping ORCA members keep an eye out. I foolishly missed this one in November…

I got lucky and found this one a few years ago for sub $50! Not museum condition, but a neat little piece. It’s NFS but figured you’d like to see it.
The same year I found a net that was Thos. H. Chubb stamped. I’ve never seen another!
I grew up about 100’ from the location of the original Chubb factory and can’t resist “accumulating” anything Chubb related when I see it.
