Looking for thoughts and ideas about the possible maker of this reel. Strong likelihood it is a homemade reel, but I thought I had seen a similar reel sell a few years ago on eBay but I never noted the maker information. The exposed metal appears to have a copper hue. 5 3/8 inch diameter spool, 1-inch pillars, the foot is 4 1/2 inches long and 3/4 inch wide. Reel weighs just over 1 pound.

Re: Help with Reel ID
Kind of resembles the old Pflueger Captain trolling reel. Probably an obscure copy used on the Great Lakes.
Love those Open Face Spinning Reels! (Especially ABU & ABU/Zebco)

Re: Help with Reel ID
I don't see it as a one-off handmade reel, although maybe there was plenty of manual machine work. It should match something in an early catalog for trolling reels.
