whitney-tracy,

Check out viewtopic.php?t=8970 About the 5th reply, a member says that he may have the paperwork. Try a PM to him.

The users in that post are no longer active, having last posted in 2014 to 2017. I also checked the membership roster and don't think they are members any longer. Someone on this board may see your post and help with a manual.

The instruction that came with mine was one small sheet the size of a post card. I've posted a scan of both sides below.

There isn't much to go wrong with a Humphreys 3-A. I posted a disassembly of one on the Fiberglass Flyrodder's forum - https://fiberglassflyrodders.com/forum/ ... 2&p=391962

The Colorado reels were designed for fishing that newfangled mono with a fly rod.
You could use them to cast spinners, or to "steelhead" long drifts with a quill float - what's called trotting in the UK.
Phillipson Zephyr cane rods were built just for these reels, and have the para taper typical of a spinning rod.
