Cast-Oreno, Oreno-matic, Bass-Oreno

Does anyone know the origin and history of the Oreno trade name that SB put on practically everything? Was “neatoreno” or something similar a slang that was used in the early 1900’s?

According to South Bend Fishing Lures by Terry Wong, the term came from the gay 90's expression "peacherino", which was ascribed to anything or anyone of the highest caliber, especially fine looking women.
