NFLCC Akron / Canton, Ohio
Fishing Tackle Collectibles
Room Trading Show
November 4-5, 2022

We invite you to the Akron / Canton, Ohio area to the home of many historic fishing tackle, outdoor, and sporting goods companies. Our show will be held at the Holiday Inn Canton (Belden Village) hotel on November 4-5th, 2022. At this time, there will be room-only trading for two days, Friday and all-day Saturday with some vendors arriving earlier in the week. Vendors can arrive as early as Monday and receive the NFLCC group rate. Provided we have good attendance and commitment we can add a table show in the same hotel at a good cost in 2023.

Vendors will be selling antique, collectible, old, new, and used fishing tackle, rods, reels, and lures. We hope that most items to be sold in the rooms are fishing related (approximately 75%), but vendors may also have other outdoor items such as misc. hunting supplies, duck and fish decoys, duck calls, wildlife art, vintage shell boxes, knives, prints, magazines, books, household décor, and other sporting collectibles. Other examples of items such as coins, stamps, sports cards, petroleum, vintage advertising, camping, and other collectible items can often be found.

No guns, ammunition, weapons, alcohol, or illegal items will be sold.

Free appraisals and raffle prizes offered (information available at
registration table). Limited appraisals and auction services will be open to the public. Details on the auction are being worked out by Mark Ward (Region 4, NFLCC Vice President). We may also additionally open up the auction for members to put up items for sale.

COVID-19 protocols are expected to be followed when required by state and local mandates. Social distancing encouraged.

Registration / show fees cover advertising and minor incidental costs. Vendors who plan on selling in the room register and pay $10 (covers spouse / significant other and children). Only registered NFLCC members may sell in their rooms and receive the hotel group rate. Transient NFLCC members pay $10 for show admission. Pass good for two days. Visitors are welcome and the two-day show cost is $5. Non-member paid admission receives a free NFLCC Magazine or Gazette (limited supplies). Youth 16 and under are free of charge.

All current NFLCC member reservations should mention the Fishing Tackle Show for group rate. Group room rates are $99 plus taxes for Single King or Double Queen beds per night. Studio Suites are available for $129 for Single King or Double Queen plus living room seating.

For those that don’t know Kevin, he is a Lion in our hobby, with definitive books on Al Foss and Fred Arbogast, among others. I can’t wait to attend his show.
