Yep. Cory Well of Three Dog Night loved to fish, too! He'd take some the other guys in the band out in between tour dates.
Love those Open Face Spinning Reels! (Especially ABU & ABU/Zebco)

Recognize this rocker, who actually owns his own trout hatchery?

Yeah, Duane Allman.
And, Roger Daltry. Didn't know he fished either.
And... Eric Clapton hunts.
Who'd a guessed. Then... who'd've guessed not? :)

At first, I was curious about Duane Allman's reel. Appears it was a Zebco, prob 202.

If that was Joe Cocker, he’d probably be flat on his back. Or have fallen into the lake and dripping wet.
That’s the great thing about fishing. It is for kings and paupers and everyone is equal in the pursuit.

That's, of course, Roger Daultry sans cape.
I was saying, another rocker, JC was an avid fly guy in Colorado I believe.
I've also heard that Clapton is a salmon guy.

But what about Taj Mahal? The Fishin' Blues?

Fishin' Blues

I betcha' goin' fishin' all o' the time
Baby goin' fishin' too
Bet you life, your sweet wife
Is gonna catch more fish than you
Many fish bites if you got good bait
Here's a little tip that I would like to relate
With my pole and my line
I'm a goin' fishin', yes I'm goin' fishin'
And my baby goin' fishin' too
I went on down my favorite fishin' hole
Baby got myself a pole an' line
Caught a nine poun' catfish
On the bottom, yes I got him
And I brought him home to my mom about supper time
Singin' many fish bites if you got good bait
Here's a little tip that I would like to relate
Many fish bites if you got good bait
I'm a goin' fishin', yes I'm goin' fishin'
And my baby goin' fishin' too

Answers to the celib quiz -

1.) Bing Crosby, pretty easy seeing his name was right there in the photo.
2.) Gene Tunney, heaveyweight boxing champion of the world with .... a tunny. Also Michael Lerner founder of the IGFA
3.) Charlie Chaplin and Mary Pickford
4.) Errol Flynn and champion archer Howard Hall - Great call Eric on Howard Hall!
5.) Ted Williams - Inductee into both the Baseball and Fishing Hall of Fame.

Mike, Flynn is fishing with Tycoon Bimini King rods and Fin-Nor reels.

Looks like Robert Mitchum fishing ... but not at Cape Fear.
