Mr. Pie,
Finally a book by you that is not over my head, one that I can actually fathom its content and put it to practical use. That being said, can you send me a box of Crayolas to go with it, I just finished eating my last two colors, indigo and jungle green. I always liked crayons better than paste.

Was this launched during a Wine and Reels discussion about how to get younger collectors in ORCA? There must be an origin story.

There must be an origin story.
The origin story is so gripping that I didn't want to distract folks from their 3-day weekend. But since you asked: Paulina Borrego knows my daughter-in-law, who introduced us. She has wide-ranging interests, including patents. She already had submitted several coloring books to the site linked in my opening post. When she heard about my interest in fishing reel patents, she immediately realized that this was the third-most-fascinating topic on the planet, after the Kardashians and Elon Musk.

Once we agreed to do the book, I provided about 40 suggested patent illustrations, and she dug up some others. We finally agreed on the ones to include, and she did the assembly and uploading. Breathtaking, though wineless, story.
