Irene and I will be arriving on Tuesday afternoon. We are looking forward to a good time.
I love to get old reels, work on them until they run as smooth as silk and the take them fishing using pre-1960 plugs, mostly surface fishing for Largemouths after dark.
I changed my plans and will be flying in to Lexington airport early Wednesday afternoon. If anyone else is flying in around that time and wants to share a Lyft to Frankfort -- or if anyone is driving from Lex to Frankfort with their own car -- please let me know. Thanks! Richard
I’m trying to make it for the first time ever this year. What is the best day to arrive ? Room trading ? Or best 2 days to go ? Looking for vintage saltwater big game
Thanks
Daniel Z
Coming in Wed and leaving Sat is best, but if you are limited to two days you may want to consider Thurs and Friday. Room trading is all nights, but our banquet is Friday night and may limit some available time there.

I’ve received a few calls about not being registered for the nationals. My daughter is getting married that weekend. The wedding was originally set for last summer in Pittsburgh but events were canceled due to Covid and September was the only open date to reschedule at the resort. In any event, I’m sure it will be a great Frankfort show and I’ll be checking this website for photos and updates.
We will miss seeing you in Frankfort, Mike. Have a great time at the wedding! We'll post photos from the convention but you aren't allowed to look at them until after all wedding festivities are done and the band is packing up to go home.

Looks like the casting contest and fishing contest will be pretty good weather, current forecast is high of 76 F. Although if you are arriving Wed it will be 92. The cooler weather pattern is in store for Thurs-Sat.
See you all there!
