Johnson Century reel -need a part

Post by Bill Sonnett »

Trying to repair my 6-year-old grandson's reel. John Century100B. Need the main drive gear with attached shaft that the handle fits on to. This is a pressed fit between these two parts and this one has come loose. I realize that one can buy a used reel for next to nothing but this one has a certain sentimental value.
I love to get old reels, work on them until they run as smooth as silk and the take them fishing using pre-1960 plugs, mostly surface fishing for Largemouths after dark.
