Thanks Brian. Glad to see it get out in public and collector's view.
I will try to get ahold of many of the old timers and alike to gather what I can on our west coast heritage.

That was a good read, Brian. I particularly liked that the author gave a shout out to the local bait and tackle shop.
I also like your idea of a fishing charter if John ever invites us back to San Diego. If fact when we were there last September, I took a photo of just the ship that can handle our rowdy crew. I’m sure Dr. Elder knows a guy who knows a guy who can arrange the charter, especially if we let him pilot.
