Western Tuna History

Post by Brian F. »

Bud Chaddock has been writing articles about his life experiences that pretty much tell the story about the West Coast Tuna Fishery. Here's his latest installment in Western Outdoor News:

Search the Western Outdoor News site for "Chaddock" to see all of his past stories. Here's an example.

If Elder ever does another SD, CA National, we should do a charter instead of pier fishing :D

That was a good read, Brian. I particularly liked that the author gave a shout out to the local bait and tackle shop.

I also like your idea of a fishing charter if John ever invites us back to San Diego. If fact when we were there last September, I took a photo of just the ship that can handle our rowdy crew. I’m sure Dr. Elder knows a guy who knows a guy who can arrange the charter, especially if we let him pilot.
