Almost across the finish line on my new boat house & pier

Post by leland99 »

This project started in late April 2022 with the demo of my old boat house and pier. At the time the lake was a full pool. As of mid October, the lake is about 2 feet below full pool. Hope to complete the staining of all the treated wood by month's end, then I can accessorize and fill my store room with tackle and gear. Original estimate was 8-10 weeks but I knew better.

Across the finish line!

The painter finished all staining in October 2022 and I installed post caps and fishing rod holders. The builder's final task was installing the recessed handles on the trap doors in May 2023. Deep Glow green fish light was added in June. I can attest the fish cleaning station is fully functional!

Patience pays off and it looks like you got a great one. I know you'll be enjoying it more when the weather gets cooler.

Thanks for sharing those photos, Bryce. It looks so peaceful and top shelf quality. The green glow fish light is a great touch!
