Titeline by Walker reel, have you information on it?

Post by RustyStuff »

Greetings! I'm having difficulty finding any info on this find. Any suggestions or insight please? Thanks in advance! I do hope you can see the photo, if I did this right...

At the top of this page tap announcements there you will find a step by step tutorial for uploading your photos. I had to use it the first couple times myself as did others I’d guess. Welcome to the site!

Yes there is, it's above the ORCA Community section. Here's a link to the instructions so hopefully you can find them easier. viewtopic.php?t=15596

After you have uploaded your photos to ORCA don't forget to insert them into your post.
Love those Open Face Spinning Reels! (Especially ABU & ABU/Zebco)

I uploaded some but see no way to attach them.
There doesn't seem to be that option.

We have one previous inquiry on this reel, with not much information. viewtopic.php?p=106010&hilit=titeline#p106010

Thanks for that link. Yes, it has a tension spring winder like my automatic fly reels.
The beast weighs 2lbs 3+ ounces and would likely work best under (like the foil sticker graphic shows) a heavy boat rod, not on top. Would there be such a rod out there by a Walker? I suspect this was a well-made notion that simply didn't sell. I wonder what the production figures would be?
Now that I know how to do it, additional photos would cheerfully shared on request.

Made in Portage Michigan, that’s just a suburb of Kalamazoo right on West Lake. I’ll ask around and see if anyone here knows more about them.

Thanks for offering to inquire about it. If you'd care to have other/better photos of any details, feel free to ask and I will do my best to oblige.
