replace drag on shakespeare 1967

I need to replace the drag on a shakespeare dg 1967, cant find pictures or shematics. Its been taken apart and put back together several times and dont know if all the parts are right or in the right place.

Do you mean the 1967 Champion reel?

1967HK CHAMPION - 10-24-33

These reels are similar to the Hercules, and have a drum drag. They were made in 1930-1934. Catalog says:
A brake drum containing a fibre lining and a bronze spring is attached to the end of the spool. The brake is instantly applied by the thumb button in the head plate and acts only when line is running out; being automatically released when reeling in.

The ORCA Library only seems to show this in the 1940 repair manual. Here is an excerpt:
