Morning All, does anyone know what timeframe this reel was made? It’s marked 3 1/2 on bottom

Mid 1890s to very early 1900s. TJ switched over to primarily Montague products for less expensive multipliers after 1900 (see the 1911 catalog in the ORCA library, for example). This foot style was only used on a few JVH models (and I don't think this was one of them) prior to the mid 1890s.
