This set took quite a few years to complete !!! The Machine Industries reels were made from 1945 to 1947 so a short run ! The 12/0s seem to be most common by far. The 10/0s I have seen a hand full. The 15/0s I personally have seen 3 of them. The 6/0s I have seen only one and the 4/0s I have seen two of them. So not common reels at all.
I am going to add a bunch of pictures so enjoy and thanks for looking !!! John Taylor
Here is the little 4/0
now the 6/0
the 10/0
the most common 12/0
now the 15/0 "Clari Jo" reel owned by Tony Accardo Chicago crime boss and owner of the first Rybovich Hull named after his wife Clari Jo
and last the set again. Thanks again for looking ! John Taylor

Nice collection, John! Lots of asphalt put down to get all of those! How would you compare the mechanics of those reels to Fin-Nor?

John they are very similar to the regular Fin-Nor reels inside. They were forever changing and being improved on right up to and even after they were more mass produced. The 15/0 is about the smoothest 15/0 I have seen, John Taylorjohn elder wrote: ↑Sat Oct 28, 2023 3:26 pm Nice collection, John! Lots of asphalt put down to get all of those!
