Canton, OH NFLCC Show- Summary and Thanks!

I want to give a big thank you to all the vendors who setup. We gained four new members because of the Canton Ohio NFLCC Show. Please welcome James Keplar, David Stankiewicz, Rick Provence III (Cast Crey Lures), and Rick Philips (Barney Fishing Lures) to the NFLCC.

We had a good turn out of about 100 people including members and the public. We had some great stuff come in off the street and some was auctioned off with a 10% commission for the NFLCC. There were a few tough items that walked in, but were not auctioned off. Some good tackle did show up.

I hope our vendors had a great show and want to return next year. I especially want to give a thanks to Bill McVeigh and Mark Ward (Region 4 NFLCC VP) for running the appraisal and silent auction service. I also want to thank Stephen Garnett for helping with early setup and artwork. We greatly appreciate DeLong Lures (Canal Fulton), Cast Crey Lures, and a few others for contributing Fishing Tackle for youth who came to the show. I appreciate those who contributed their time and energy to put on a great show!

We had about 40 tables with room to grow! When we have details for next year, we'll let everyone know. I also want to thank the Holiday Inn (Belden Village) in Canton, OH for being our host hotel. They have wonderful staff, improved remodeled rooms, great facilities to host our event.

Kevin, thanks for posting and sharing links to the photos. Also thanks for encouraging ORCA members to attend and participate. Looks like there were quite a few reels available on the tables! With the effort you are putting in, this show will certainly grow and flourish!!
