Ambassadeur 5000c

Post by Ecrews00 »

I have an Ambassadeur 5000c with a serial number of 15327. It’s never had line on it and is in mint condition. The case (with original oil, spare parts, and spacer is in good exterior condition (although interior of case is starting to dry-rot). I have kept it over 40 years since I was a little boy because it was my grandfathers and was always fascinated that it was so precisely made. I am interested in the year manufactured, its rarity (if applicable), and value range. I appreciate anyone willing to share their expertise.

- Click on "Image upload" to the right above the Smilies.
- Select the images on your computer and then click on "upload all."
- Put your cursor in, or after, your text where you want the image to appear.
- Select from the list of uploaded files either thumbnail or regular.

Beautiful reel! A bit rare as it is a black 4-screw 5000 and most you see will have three screws and a post holding the back plate. I am not up on current prices on those, but it’s a keeper for some collector… maybe you!

I saw your pics by just clicking on your links, but as Ron1 said, posting is dead easy. Only thing is that pics need to be less than 4mb.

1. Image upload
2. Select and add pics
3. Hit the “upload all” button
4. Select url, choice between “regular” or “tiny”
5. Put cursor in post where you want pic to be and add pic
6. Post
