Self-publishing

Post by Steve »

As mentioned in The Reel News, July, the 2024 convention in Frankfort will have a seminar on creating and publishing fishing tackle books, moderated by Betty Barr and Don Kleier. I want to point out that the biggest advantage of self-publishing is the chance to make as many spelling errors as you want. For example:

Book: ANTIQUE FISHING REELS, 2nd Ed.
Websites:
Antique Fishing Reels
Kopf reels
Hendrick reels

I believe it was Van Hof who made Levels and Winders on Hof Corso in central Milan. Didn’t know he made some fishing reels. Guess I’ll write a book on it.
