Dennison reel identification

Post by Rank Amateur »

hello to all,
i have a Dennison reel i am trying to identify.
i spoke to Jim Adams a short while back and he told me that ORCA might be a real good place to go with.
He also told me he had seen some Dennison reels in a book he had (NW FISHING REELS) tho no luck.
this reel is a bimodal (spin/fly)reel, multiplying, anti reverse and has 5 screws holding the front and back plates on instead of six that i have seen on other models.
it also has an adapter plate that looks like it came from a 6 screw model that has a 7th hole for this reels 5th screw.
the the 2 holes used for the 6 screw model are in the plate but not used
also the multiplier is belt driven not gear driven
the Dennison name is punched on the front about 3/32" high and is its only marking
any help would be truly appreciated
Thank You
