Idaho trout

Post by Ray Hencken »

I spent some time fly fishing in Idaho this summer landing some nice wild fish on parachute hoppers, bead head prince nymphs and wooley buggers.
Best fish was a 23" brown trout on a bugger.

Best rainbow trout was 20" on a prince nymph.

A good number of rainbows and browns in the 15"-19" range.

Got a spare reel stamped "Pflueger" or a Montague Imperial?
