Winchester reel

Looking for a value for one that I had seen today at a gun show, it's a nlw, plated, 60 yd. with the # 2337. I've looked thru Lawsons, Whites and the auction site and can't find anything there. I'd say the reel is ex- or better. Mike

The reel marked Winchester 2337 was never listed in Winchester catalogs. It was probably one of the many reels assembled by H-I after they purchased the Winchester fishing tackle inventory, where they seem to have made up all sorts of numbers. The reel is shown in The Standard Catalog of Winchester. I list it at $100-135 for VG-EX conditon in the above mentioned book.
