Super Spin No. 950

Post by PaulLuikart »

Hello, all. Okay, I just got ahold of a Super Spin No. 950. It was made in Japan, and that's all I know. I grabbed it mostly because I liked the way it looks and because I think I can get it back into working shape. It's a project. Anyway. If anybody knows more about this brand/this kind, I'd love to hear. Thank you!

Made in the late '50s /early '60s, most likely by Olympic given Olympic made most of the Japanese reels from that time frame, and probably sold by G.C. & Co in the US. It's the same reel as the Wasp 950. There's a NIB Super Spin 950 with a readable schematic on daBay you might want to check out.
Love those Open Face Spinning Reels! (Especially ABU & ABU/Zebco)
