Trentmen

Post by Stef Duma »

I have finally finished my book Trentmen that has taken 35 years to complete.
616 pages, 997 images.
Front cover of the book is a William Dann of Nottingham sidemounted Nottingham clamp winch circa 1815.

There are 11 chapters covering the period 1790 to 1959 Roughly translated to William Dann's birth to the death of FWK Wallis in 1959.

There is a Chapter on Dingley with many of the reels never seen before, Slater made reels for Hardy and many of them are covers in the Slater chapter.

To purchase the book from Turner & Lowkes link below, North America, Europe and Oceania
shipping deal at the moment.

Congratulations Stef, it must be rewarding to hold the final product after 35 years of research and writing.

This is a great achievement, Stef.
FYI all ORCA members, I'll be putting together an article for the July issue focused on the very unusual William Nightingale coin reels chapter of Stefan's book, just to give readers a taste of what he has published.
