Here's one for the reel collector

Alright I'm not into spam or free advertising but now I've seen it all. If you own a cell phone then you need one of these.

I liked just hearing them sing!

Now that is a great idea! I guess the reason you can't get a ringtone of a Shakespeare reel is that they turn so smooth, you would never know your phone wanted you.
Thanks for the chuckle,

Brian:

SUPER site. And I'm embarrassed to admit that I would pick the Hardy "Angel" if I were going to download one. I listened to everyone of them :)

Ha ha, I can just see it now if I were standing in an elevator with the phone in my back pocket. The way the Hardy Zane Grey ratchet starts off so slooowly, I'd probably get some offended looks!

My preference would be to have a ratchet sound that takes off from 0 to 60 in 1/3 the time. The Zane Grey sounds like it's taking the kind of shark strike that we have around here. The really fun fish, giant trevally, are freight trains from the word "go"!

Truly bizarre!

Brian: That is one of the more unusual uses of the INternet I've ever seen, not to mention that someone 1) thought this up and 2) posted it as a replacement for your telephone ring tone. I agree with Jack, why no Montague? Why no Meisselbach Featherlight? Why not the lovely sound of a Pflueger Medalist or an Orvis CFO? Man, these guys just aren't odd and creative enough!

I think that's where ORCA comes in: We gotta edumacate the world that there's more to reels than that! Hmmmm, another idea for the ORCA Store? I myself would buy the sound of a nice BIG reel going off!
