saw that on Joe's and then on his website. Great story. Excellent reel.

Neat to find out where a missing piece is

A few years ago Lloyd Jett and I found the stash in Florida of WT and Laura Heddon's reels. These won the award for the best Heddon reel display at a NFLCC National a few years ago. Everything from an early 4-18 stamped MODEL, a 3-35 with leaping bass logo, 3-24 etc etc to the scarce P-61 (one of 13) and several other prototype and scarce models.

So neat to see that another of their reels is now in the hands of one of our own fellow collectors.
