CNN's new star
Hope he forgives me for this, but our fine Reel News editor was featured on CNN's Nancy Grace show last evening. Excellent reporting! This guy holds down two tough jobs, the tougher likely dealing with us word-challenged columnists. Kudos to Richard! Bob, the Supreme (reels that is) collector
Hey Bob! Fill us in on the segment (I hate it when I miss these things because of a 6 hour time diff.) Did Richard have a few nice fly reels in the background?

It was indeed about the double homicide. Tragic!

No secrets!
I can't keep a secret from ORCAns! For those whose biggest challenge at 8 p.m. (Eastern time) tonight and tomorrow night (Feb. 15 and 16) is clipping your toenails (or cleaning that "patina" off a Hardy Perfect with some coarse steel wool), turn on the Nancy Grace Show on CNN. I've been among the "talking heads" for the past few days on this tragic story, which is centered in the town of Hopkinton, one of the core towns for my newspaper. You can catch up on our coverage at www.metrowestdailynews.com.
Transcripts of the program are available at cnn.com, under the Nancy Grace button. Pretty awful reading, I might add. What did Andy Warhol call it, "15 minutes of fame?"

Harvey-Now you've stopped preaching and gone to meddlin'! Nancy is my kind of talk show host. Southern born, tough, opinionated (usually my opinion), concise and with no tolerance for liberal BS, especially from defence lawyers! In additition to all that she interviews my friend and treats him generally well. Who could ask for more? Bob
