Dam Baitcaster

Post by jackpine »

Well, this is where the experts on reels are. The "best" reel site on the web.

Anyway, I have this Dam Baitcaster, EverReady 3125. All aluminum frame with a spool release lever on the top crank side.

I personally have never seen a Dam Baitcaster, only spinning reels.

Any info would greatly be appreciated.

:D 8) :!: :?:  :type: jump usa cool-thumb jump Jackpine, you are corect ORCA is the best REEL site on the WEB! and NO SPIDER WEBS! I must say that is a nice D.A.M. casting reel! they did however make 3 other modle #s I am fimilar with, the 600, 700, and 800, all have simlar parts and looks of the ABU GARCIA in fact some parts interchange! I done a artical on the DAM 700 a while back in the ORCA mag under my column (The REEL FIX) As for the model you have , I dont have a factory paper on that one! it looks a lot like the Shakespere reel with the drag knob on top of the handle side of the reel! How about a front and rear view? Someone of our members will be able to ID it! Your Ohio Conection on Lake Erie , Col. Milton Lorens aka SWIM JIG
