Old Fishing Stuff Website

Post by Freeman Auctions »

Has anyone visited Phil's site in the last day or so? I thought maybe he has taken up another hobby?

Hijack?

Post by drexelantiques »

Looks like he was hijacked. I had a couple dozen attempts a few weeks ago to edit my site through frontpage, one of them was using a password generator, luckily it didn't work.

Thanks to all for your concern, and to those of you who have emailed. My server attempted to help me solve this problem in an easy manner, but we haven't succeeded yet. Those Lithuanians have blocked me from installing a new password and putting my site back up. The server will probably just have to clear out the site and I'll start over and reload my files.

Well, I'm half way there. I have regained control of the control panel on my server. I am going to get my site back up and running either tonight or tomorrow. The major problem is that the fishing is terrific just by walking across the road in front of my house.

Last evening I fished for about an hour and caught 9 bass - all on the Herb's Dilly that I was warming up for the old tackle tournament next week. They ranged from 12 to 20 inches and were in very shallow water. It was a ball wading and enjoying the beautiful evening while catching fish. There were very few boats out because we had high winds all day until late evening. It was perfect, and who wants to sit at their computer working on their web site when they can enjoy the evening outdoors. And besides, I don't have any idea what I'm doing with the computer.

Hey! we're finally getting somewhere. The Lithuanian mob's web site is finally gone. They deleted all my email addresses, changed all the passwords, etc. We should have the site back up and running in the next 24 hours or so... maybe... hopefully... please... :x

The site is now back. Hooooray! I noted there were a few things that didn't come up correctly, so if you note anything, please let me know by email.

Thank you all for your patience.

The only email addresses I was referring to were my own. I have put them back up and they have new passwords, so it won't even matter if they did sell them.
