While I was back in NY at the ORCA Convention, The Bass Federation held their western championship on Lake Lowell. Everyone apparently went away praising the fishery. You can read about the tournament here:

Phil,
I bet you coulda whipped all of 'em with that bubble gum color Senko! Have you had a chance to give "dog walkin'" a try yet? And I don't mean Bert!
And Tom E...if you read this, thanks again for the Heddon baits. I've already put them to great use, and tore up the smallmouth on the Mohawk river yesterday. I'm heading back out there at 5 am to beat the holiday traffic. Nothing like an early morning topwater bite!

Geez, I like  the loaded with bass part. Will be there this summer.

Jim, Glad the baits are knocking them dead. I'm off to Port Mansfield, TX (southern tip of Padre Island) on Sat for 3 days of chasing monster Speckled Trout and Redfish. I'll have some of the same topwater baits to throw.

T.
