Need info on Miles Bay reel

Post by Richard Lodge »

Friends and fellow ORCAns: I received this e-mail from a woman trying to find out information about a reel she purchased off the 'Bay for her son. Here is her e-mail to me. If you can shed any light on this reel or steer her to a place where she might be enlightened, I'm sure she'd be appreciated. Please post here on the board of e-mail her directly if you have info. I don't especially want to be the messenger. Thanks!
Richard

Her message:

I recently purchased a Miles Bay Reel w/line intact Model No. V-7355 on eBay. This is for my 35 yr. old son who is an avid fisherman (since he was about six yrs. old). Bone fishing is his fascination but he fishes for just about anything, anywhere, anytime he can. It would be his vocation if it paid enough. He should have been born with gills. He collects old lures and reels. I would like to know some history of this reel if you have any info available I would appreciate it.

Thank you, Mary Ellen Phillips
