:o  :!: :?:  :type: jump usa You are going to have to show the srial # thats on the botom of the foot!, a serious colector will want to know this, as they were made seveal different years , someone may have the box and paperwork for a like year reel, also the cardboard sleve that went over the wooden box! Its like a car one year and the engine is another year! Your Ohio Conection on Lake ERIE cOL. Milton Lorens aka SWIM JIG

Hi uintaangler, When I posted a reply to your message in the other section you didn't have a picture showing the bottom of the reel foot. After seeing the picture of the bottom of the reel foot I have some concerns about the originality of the reel. The dimpled reel foot did not come out until sometime in 1972 and the reel foot always had a number stamped on it. I don't see a number on your reel foot. Am I just missing it or is there not a number stamped on the reel foot? If your reel was made in 1969 the reel foot would have been smooth not dimpled. What I am getting at is that the dimpled reel foot and possibly the absence of a number on the reel foot makes me think that the frame on your reel may have been replaced. Randy

Gentlemen,
There is no serial number stamped on the reelfoot - that's why I included that picture in my ad.
I am way outside my area of expertise with this reel and that is the reason for my original post in Reel Talk.
I intend to run this ad only through the weekend - so please feel free to contact me with reasonable offers via email: .
